My Tesla Model Y can do "rolling stops" at stop signs like everyone else, while self-driving, any time through 2024

Self-driving works pretty well, but it's strange that it's required to do complete absolute stops at stop signs. Of course, that's the law - but it's also putting Tesla at odds with 95% of people, who don't actually fully stop that much.
Will my Tesla model Y not do this, for at least a week continuously, anytime through EOY 2024?
It's due to an agreement with California's DMV or something similar, so would require negotiation and a change of position from them.
