Currently, six parties hold seats in New Zealand's 54th Parliament: National, Labour, ACT, Green, New Zealand First, and Te Pāti Māori.
In New Zealand's MMP electoral system, a party needs to either win 5% of the party vote OR win an electorate seat to gain representation in Parliament.
This market resolves YES if any political party that is not currently represented in the 54th Parliament wins at least one seat in the next New Zealand general election, which must be held by December 19, 2026.
Resolution will be based on the official election results as published by the Electoral Commission of New Zealand: https://electionresults.govt.nz/
