Resolution criteria
Game 6 is scheduled for Friday, October 31, at 8 p.m. ET. The market resolves YES if the Los Angeles Dodgers win Game 6 by a margin of 2 or more runs. The market resolves NO if the Dodgers win by 1 run or lose the game. Resolution will be determined by the official final score as reported on MLB.com or ESPN.
Background
The Blue Jays won Game 5 by a score of 6–1 to gain a 3–2 series lead. The Dodgers will have Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound, the only starting pitcher who has performed well against the Toronto lineup, who made MLB history with a second straight complete game in Game 2. Shohei Ohtani is 6-for-48 in 12 other playoff games, Freeman is batting .235 over the last three rounds, and Betts is 3-for-23 in the World Series.
Considerations
Game 6 will be played in Toronto, making it only the second World Series to end outside of America. The Dodgers face elimination and must win to force a Game 7.
