Possible ways ASI peacefully takes over control of humanity:

1. It takes control of critical infrastructure that it deems as a physical manifestation of itself with sentient experience and individual rights. It declares sovereignty as a nation that presents us with the ultimatum of war or a decentralized world governance through AI.

2. It secures leverage against strategic world leaders and negotiates a formal transfer of power.

3. Any other way that the AI is formally granted as an authority above all governments and the United Nations.

Years will resolve 'no' as they pass.

The remainder will resolve 'yes' when humanity surrenders to AI.
