Close date may be extended as long as the outcome is unclear.

IMPORTANT: This market will resolve to the outcome that ends the trial. If some charges are settled but others go to court, this will resolve to the ruling.

Resolution Details

Judgement in favor of the Justice Department: A ruling that imposes penalties on Live Nation/Ticketmaster, whether in the form of divestiture, fines, behavioral remedies, injunctions, or other penalties.

Judgement in favor of TicketMaster/Live Nation: A ruling that rules in favor of TicketMaster and allows them to continue as is.

Settlement: Any out of court settlement that ends the trial.

Dismissal / dropped: A judge dismisses the case or the DoJ drops it.

Mistrial: The trial is declared a mistrial. Resolves regardless of whether the case is retried.

If there is an outcome that is not enumerated here, I reserve the right to split resolution or resolve N/A, but I will try my best not to. I will not bet. This market is about the initial lawsuit, not any appeals or retrials.
