Tsarathustra: Sam Altman asks if our personalized AI companions of the future, that have full recordings of your life and know everything about you, could be subpoenaed to testify against us in court.

Altman here suggests a rule protecting your privacy. Any chance we get anything like that?

Resolves YES if the USA implements a Federal rule, either via court ruling, new law or otherwise, saying that at least some AI systems available to and used by the public enjoy privacy protections, such that they and their contents cannot be used against you in a court of criminal law similar to your 5th amendment right against self-incrimination or to spousal privilege (or, alternatively, that they cannot 'be compelled to testify' or other similar rules that amount to the same thing).

This being ruled in a single case by a judge is not sufficient unless it is affirmed by SCOTUS or considered standard practice.

Resolves NO if this does not happen by the deadline of 12/24/28.
