Resolution Criteria
This market resolves YES if, by December 31, 2025, Eric Adams publicly declares he is no longer a Democrat, officially changes his party registration, or formally joins another political party. It resolves NO if he continues to identify as a Democrat through the end of 2025.

Eric Adams is currently the Mayor of New York City and a registered Democrat. In April 2024, Adams announced he would run for reelection in 2025 as an independent candidate, bypassing the Democratic primary.
