Resolves as YES if it's fairly straightforward + not particularly exceptional to join online voice servers like discord where it's possible to talk to AI(s), before January 1st 2026.
The AI(s) must be able to handle conversations with at least 3 humans in a group chat dynamic (can interrupt and be interrupted). Must be capable of having a conversation that is passably human (though not necessarily indistinguishable from one with a real person).
For this to resolve as YES, it should be possible to join a voice chat with AI(s) on discord or on a web browser, with limited effort. It may be required to create an account on a website and pay a small fee, but that's it.
@Nat How about "fairly straightforward + common" ? As in I can just join a voice chat on discord or on a web browser, with limited effort. For example, may need to create an account on a website and pay a small fee, but that's it.
And common as in there's some awareness online that such a thing exists and that people use it. That there is independent evidence on platforms like twitter and youtube of people taking recordings of these conversations, that sort of thing.
@Nat Like text-to-3D is just about now hitting the "fairly common" threshold

@RemNi Thanks for the clarification, admittedly I'm not sure that would meet my own internal definition of common but a) maybe that's just me, and b) all that really matters is that you define it clearly which you have so I'm happy
@Nat I'll try and emphasize the "fairly common", or maybe choose a better word and add more specifics to the description
