ANY use of the power of the president under Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution to grant ANY form of clemency, whether pardons, partial pardons, commutations, remissions, respites, reprieves, amnesties etc., to a person will result in their answer being resolved YES, so long as it happens before they die and after the creation of this market.

What if Trump attempts to pardon himself, but it’s struck down by the courts?

@lisamarsh Would depend on the details I imagine, but a Supreme Court ruling against a self-pardon attempt would probably make it not count as a pardon for the purposes of this market, since if it's unconstitutional then it can't be regarded as any use of the power of the president under Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution.

What do you think though?

@Tripping Seems reasonable to me!

@Tripping I feel like even if it's struck down by the courts he'll still have received a pardon, even if it later gets overturned? Not sure though

Chelsea Manning

I know she's already received a commutation from Obama. I'm holding out for full pardon/amnesty 🤞

Okay that should fix it
