We’ve seen a rise in biotech, and bio engineering can now be affordably done by a wide majority of people. Will a true revolution of either war, medicine, or even culture be within our nearest futures?

Why does this resolve in 2024?

predicts YES

@PatrikCihal Because the options for resolving are unfortunately limited…

..or I am unfortunately dim.

predicts NO

Can any yes voters please share what potential revolutions they’re expecting?

Are you thinking huge advancements building on CRISPR / gene editing, brain interface / Neuralink, etc?

predicts YES

@Tux I personally think we’ll see a mass rise of general bio knowledge in the global populace.

Things that fundamentally write the code of life will be as easily taught as learning the difference between an animal cell and a plants.

Along side such knowledge will the already widely available and affordable tech for modifying life allow general changes in even your own bodily functions be common place.

Even if minor, the common small changes will allow the bigger changes to be as widespread as a common surgery.

An ultimate change in the very functions of our culture, well being, and general way of life.
