OpenAI has just announced the “12 Days of OpenAI”, a series of 12 livestreams with new announcements. What will they announce during this?

Notes:
“Released” = available to some random members of the public, or an announcement that it will be available before December 31
“Revealed” = the thing is shown to exist, but not necessarily available to the public
Possible clarification from creator (AI generated):
For "Sora 2" announcements to count, they must show better quality than the original version revealed in early 2024, not just faster processing
The new version can keep the name 'Sora' but must be clearly distinguished as a different version from the original
@warty my interpretation of the criteria is that options are for things released or revealed on "12 Days of OpenAI". In this case, since it has already been announced, I would expect a reveal. Maybe should have specified it in the name, sorry
@plastic Sorry, I meant: "my interpretation of the criteria is that options are for things released or revealed on "12 Days of OpenAI". In this case, since it has already been announced, I would expect a reveal. Maybe should have specified it in the name, sorry"
@dominic please resolve "Code sandbox for Canvas with code execution" and "A paid feature becomes free" positively given today's OpenAI announcements
@dominic Will it count if they reveal a version that's faster but doesn't create significantly better-quality video? Does it have to have a different name than just "Sora"?
@CDBiddulph Has to be better quality, not just faster. It could just be called Sora, but they have to be clear that it is a different version than was originally revealed at the start of the year.
@Ebcc1 mostly I hear this refer to a mechanism where you can sign into a website that uses the openai api on your behalf without literally giving them your key (which is intrinsically a security issue)
@UnspecifiedPerson Just to clarify, this is “OpenAI says they meet their contractual requirements for AGI” and not “the industry widely believes this claim,” right?
@KimberlyWilberLIgt Whether the industry believes it is not relevant, what matters is whether they announce that AGI has been achieved.
12 days of releases/announcements is soooooo much
@dominic How do you intend to resolve this? What makes a model 4o's "successor"?
@SaviorofPlant Better than 4o, different than 4o (eg not 4o-12-06 or 4o-Turbo), and not a different type of model (like o1). There are some weird edge cases that could happen, but it’s hard to enumerate all of those beforehand so it will have to be somewhat of a judgment call.
