Toronto's rental prices have been declining. Will that continue?

As of the December report from Rentals.ca, the Toronto total average rent was $2640. If the total average rent by August 1st 2025 is lower than this number, this question will resolve YES, otherwise NO.
The number will be determined by reading the July rental report from Rentals.ca that will become available at this URL: https://rentals.ca/national-rent-report
Edit: If total average rent data is not available from Rentals.ca, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom rent can be used instead. If Rentals.ca data is not available at all I will have to consult traders to see if there is another appropriate data source that has past data available.
March report is out, but still shows January numbers for Toronto total average instead of the expected February numbers. Will have to see what happens in the coming months as this data will be needed to resolve.
The January report is out. My email from Rentals.ca says "Current trends suggest rents may experience further decreases in 2025".

Both Paulicpulle [real estate agent] and Ladas [assoc. dir. of comms. for Rentals.ca] said they think the favourable market for renters is temporary in Toronto but will continue at least until the spring.
