Resolution Criteria

This market resolves to YES if Ted Lasso Season 4 receives the lowest critic score of all four seasons on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. It resolves to NO if Season 4 scores higher than at least one previous season on either platform. If Season 4 is never produced, this market resolves N/A.

Background

Ted Lasso has received the following critic scores for its first three seasons:

• Season 1: 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, 71 on Metacritic

• Season 2: 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, 85 on Metacritic

• Season 3: 81% on Rotten Tomatoes, 72 on Metacritic

Season 3 was initially presented as the final season of the show, with the story arc reaching a natural conclusion. However, Ted Lasso Season 4 has been officially confirmed by Apple TV+. Jason Sudeikis will reprise his role as the titular character and serve as an executive producer. In Season 4, Ted will coach a women’s team, marking a new direction for the series. The season is expected to start filming this year.
