Odds currently add up to 285….I guess the market believes she has 2.85 types of cancer 🤔

@Lui each option is an independant percentage, they dont add to 100 in this type of market

@strutheo Yup I understand the mechanic, just think it’s interesting. I guess I also the Yesses are overpriced and should thus do my efficient market duty and buy some No-s!

How does this resolve? Only one option, or all applicable?

@Amaryllis all that apply in the end

This is gross.

@Tagger what do you mean?

@strutheo I mean that speculating on what type of cancer someone has is abhorrent. It lacks any sense of empathy and fundamentally rejects the idea of the person being speculated about being a normal person with emotions.

@Tagger you are on the wrong website with all due respect lol

@Tagger but i appreciate your concern for the person in question !

@Tagger here you can guess which cancer i will get: /strutheo/what-diseases-or-other-ailments-wil

@strutheo I disagree with you (I believe you can sepcualte on events and still be sympathetic to people), but take your point.

@Tagger is there a way i can better phrase the question so it is less bad to you?

@strutheo Oh wow, I'm impressed by your hutspa! Fair enough then, you clearly are walking this particular walk and I can criticise no more. 🙂

@Tagger maybe it does get a bit weirder when it is a specific person, but we're betting on death and sadness every day here, i guess it becomes a bit desensitizing

@strutheo In fairness my biggest ever win came from betting that Yevgeniy Prigozhin wouldn't survive the year so I don't know why this bothered me.

@Tagger lol its ok - i thnk i was also a bit weirded out when i first got here for the same reasons.

Missing an "Other" option.

@Shemetz you can add new options at the top (it can be more than one cancer)
