This market is intended to gauge the risk of death among UCI professional road cyclists within the current year. Cyclists in recent years have passed away from training accidents and racing incidents, and sometimes also pass away from other causes.

Each answer is independent and resolves Yes as soon as someone has passed away. The non-Yes answers will resolve No at the end of the year (31 December 2024).

The death can be from any cause, but the rider must be on a UCI WorldTeam, ProTeam, Continental Team, Womens WorldTeam, or Womens Continental Team at some point during the 2024 season to qualify. Retired riders or non-UCI pro riders will not count for this question, but please share any related information in the comment section because it is related to the topic of this question.

I hope every answer resolves No. I am going to mark this question as "Unranked" so any profits made will not count toward League scoring. I am interested in this from a safety and overall risk analysis perspective, not in playing games for mana.
