This question resolves to the TIME 2026 Person of the Year. It uses consolidated answers to avoid having to predict who the major party nominees will be, or the exact wording of any abstract/group answers.
If you would like to add a new candidate or consolidated answer to the market, submit it in a comment below. If a comment gets enough support, I'll open the market to submissions so that you can add it, and you'll get a bonus.
Note that all consolidated answers must be mutually exclusive, so no more specific or general versions of existing options. The goal is to cleanly divide the probabilistic landscape into non-overlapping categories.
If multiple options do end up being true, then those options will resolve to an even split of 100%.

@NzJack0n based what I’ve been seeing I have came to a decision of what I would’ve done, I would’ve resolved it to other except for a proportional resolve to Jensen and SAMA who is the only two of them that’s mentioned in this market, I haven’t done the numbers yet but I think there’s like probably eight or nine of them on the thing so the rest would go to other and 1/8 will go to Sam and 1/8 to Jensen
@JeromeHPowell So on current knowledge, you’d resolve the 2025 Joshua’s markets to 4/8 other and 1/8 to Jensen, Elon, Denis and Sam?

@JeromeHPowell yes that’s what I was thinking. I dont think Ai should resolve yes as it’s not ai, its the creators of it, just the same as Ebola would not resolve yes for Ebola fighters.
@NzJack0n I agree with that, initially I thought it was a bit more focused on AI but based on what I’ve been looking at and hearing it’s mainly about the people, so that’s why, hopefully that clears some stuff up

@Primer Look, TIME chickened out; the article was about AI, not the creators. However, the POTY was the creators, so yes, I stand strong in my decision.
