Gilmour Space's Eris Block 1 is a three-stage small-lift launch vehicle, and the first Australian-made orbital vehicle.

Its maiden flight, Eris TestFlight 1, is scheduled to launch no earlier than mid January 2025 from Bowen Orbital Spaceport, North Queensland.

Will Eris reach space on the first attempt?

Resolves YES if upon the first launch attempt, the rocket reaches an altitude of at least 100km.

A launch attempt counts for market resolution if the vehicle either actually launches (lifts off from the pad under thrust from its engines), or explodes on the pad during a countdown that was intended to end in a launch.

If a launch attempt is scrubbed, the market stays open. If the vehicle explodes during a wet dress rehearsal or similar that was not intended to result in a launch, the market stays open. It resolves NA if it appears that the launch campaign for the first flight has been called off or indefinitely postponed.
